  • This may be an advisory only service where we provide you with the details of the available solutions or solution providers for your build.
  • You may wish to get a more detailed explanation of how these solutions may work in your application but may not yet wish to reveal your project to the market. OSMI can anonymise your design documentation and collect supplier expertise and advice on your behalf. This allows your team to avail of supplier knowledge without exposure to their sales teams.
  • You may find that offsite construction methodologies that you currently use could be integrated with other parts of your build. With our knowledge of the offsite manufacturing industry, we are able to coordinate the collaboration of multiple suppliers to give you a personalised prefabricated product.

Development of your own offsite manufactured product

We can assist you in developing your own custom solution. You don’t need to be an Engineer or a Designer, you only need a good idea. This may include the development of a product for you or another provider to manufacture. We can assist in sourcing the optimal suppliers/manufacturers for your solution, developing the appropriate manufacturing technique to optimise the product and cost to manufacture.

You may believe that your innovation is proprietary and worth protecting. OSMI consulting has experience in the preparation of patent documentation. We can help you produce the copy and imagery necessary to protect your creation. This will make your dealings with the patent attorney of your choice more efficient and economical.

Provision of technical persuasion services

We can help you form a compelling argument to help clear your innovation with Approving Authorities. Often, the strict interpretation of standards and codes can incorrectly suppress responsible innovation. A pretext to any Eurocode, British Standard, and design guide is that compliance does not relieve the user of their legal responsibilities nor should the document prevent developing the state of the art with the application of professional skill and competence.
